  1914 Stanley 607

This Stanley is a 1914 Model 607. It is a correct authentic car with a known history from the thirties with supporting documents. There is a full book of photographs of its professional restoration. Everything has been renewed or replaced as required to the exact original specifications. Black was the original color. It has a new Don Bourdon (sp?)boiler and pilot and a new Stanley burner. It comes with numerous spares, worth mentioning are a complete spare engine and enough extra side and tail lamps to outfit another 1913 or 1914 Stanley, also after market luggage racks, spare wheel carrier and much more plus all the usual things.

The car has been completely sorted out after its restoration and is ready to tour. Two things that need to be decided to possibly be done by the new owner are: first pin striping and second, whether to continue to use the later boiler water level site gauge or switch back to the original three tube indicator. In the first instance, a new floor board has been made (but not yet installed) and in the second, one can use the original cast aluminum floor (board see photos) which I refused to cut.
