Heritage Steam Supplies becomes a Division of Industrial Boilerhouse Supplies Ltd

Heritage Steam Supplies is to be acquired by Industrial Boilerhouse Supplies Ltd on the 1st January 2008 and will become a division specialising in the Heritage market.
Stuart Gray, the founder and current owner of Heritage Steam Supplies acknowledged that his rapidly expanding business which he has run in his spare time for the past eight years has just become too large to run efficiently on a part time basis without making further investment in time and logistical management to maintain the service that he has become renown for.

Industrial Boilerhouse Supplies Ltd are a established and experienced Company committed to supplying spare parts to boiler houses throughout the world and wish to develop their services and range of products in the Heritage sector of the market.
Dave Holland the founder and Managing Director of Industrial Boilerhouse Supplies Ltd feels that acquiring Heritage Steam Supplies will enable new and existing Heritage customers to benefit from our sales, stocking, trade counter, and despatch facilities while being able to take specialist hands on advise from Stuart Gray who will continue to take an active role in the business as a point of contact and offering technical support to the Heritage enthusiast.
Dave Holland; “Working with Stuart to further develop the business will ensure that the traditional aspect of the supply of parts is maintained and not compromised”.

In addition, Industrial Boilerhouse Supplies Ltd will be publishing a dedicated Heritage steam catalogue and web site in 2008, expanding the product range based on the growing demand from the enthusiast. With a 10,000sq/ft warehouse facility in Fareham Hampshire, most items will be available off the shelf despatching items on a next day service basis.

Stuart Gray; "When I started in steam preservation some 35 years ago, all the major boiler spares suppliers continued to sell all the traditional items associated with road steam. Gradually many of the traditional products and services fell by the wayside as did the knowledge from the ‘Trade Counter’. It was my desire to ensure that with Heritage Steam Supplies we did not lose this vital source of spares knowledge and to make this available to particularly those entering the hobby for the first time. With Industrial Boilerhouse Supplies Ltd, a key provider of Boilerhouse supplies and steam ancillary equipment in the UK offering a mail order and online service, it is significant that we can again look forward to a dedicated Heritage supplier of Boiler Spares and associated products well into the future and of course they also have a ‘traditional’ Trade Counter Service and a committed team of sales engineers".

All the dedicated products and services currently available from Heritage Steam Supplies will continue to be available from Industrial Boilerhouse Supplies Ltd, including ‘Pilotseal’ boiler door joints, adding to the range of ‘Blue Max’, ‘Black Max’ and Topog E joints.
Multitreat TC Boiler water treatment, S.Redfern’s traditional wire bound water lifter suction hose and of course the full range of firing shovels and firing irons.
