British Steam Car Challenge
BRITAIN NEEDS YOU!
In just a few months, your country faces a huge challenge - the Steam Challenge. At Bonneville, the Union
Jack Flag will take on the world to set a new record for the fastest steam powered car.
In the best British Bulldog tradition, it's a battle involving invention and endeavour against mighty
forces. Will engineering excellence and enthusiasm prevail? To find out, the Steam Challenge needs your help
and support, in return for which you get a place in the history books.
A donation of just one pound gets your name, company name (or the name of a friend or family member you
nominate) included on the Union Jack Flag livery on the British Steam Car and will help Charles Burnett III
bring the world record to these shores. Not only will you be helping raise the funds needed to break the
record but your name will be cemented in posterity and will be a permanent feature of the car when it is
subsequently displayed at Beaulieu National Motor Museum alongside other legendary Land Speed vehicles like
Bluebird and Golden Arrow. Across Great Britain, donations such as yours will be flooding in. Don't wait,
be part of history today. Pledge your one pound donation now by going to the donation page at www.britishsteamcarappeal.co.uk
