The E bay 735 Update

We are slowly stripping the 735 and have found some conflicting bits of evidence.

The brake dums on both the ouetr and inner rims showed signs of original paint work, indicating that the car had seen little usage.

We have just stripped the remaining valve from the car and find that:
a) At every joint of steam valves there is evidence of cylinder oil, indicating that the car has seen quite a bit of use.
b) Most of the remaining steam joint had indications oif being firred up with Calcium deposits (just like most kettles). Is Detroit a hard water area ?

So we have conflicting indications:
Little brake wear.
A lot of boiler use.
Little wear in the stearing gear.
Firred up boiler fittings.
Empty cylinder lubricating reservoir.

More will come to light as we strip further.
