I just visited Midwest Coach & Carriage Works' website. They just did an extensive update and there is an extremely interesting article on the restoration of a Stanley Model 64 - over 50 photos. The car looked very well-preserved to start with. It should be beautiful when finished!

Looks like they're also building a Stanley Model 70 to come to England. Interesting stuff!

The (ongoing) Model 64 article is fascinating, shows big conservation versus restoration ussues involved keeping a highly original car on the road. Some of the pinstriping details on our Model 607 were based onthis car's surviving original paintwork.
