It is with great sadness that I report the death of one of life’s true gentleman, Arthur Thomson who passed away on the 22nd of August aged 79. He will be greatly missed in the steam world and our thoughts go out to all his family and relatives at this sad time.

How sad - Arthur was a true stalwart of the Club, good company and a lovely man.

We are all very sad to hear of the passing of Arthur. A real gentleman and a great White steam car runner. He seldom if ever had a problem on the roads with his cars.
