Invitations for steam cars

Here is a new thread in which we can list event invitations for steam cars.

Beamish Museum Sept 5th and 6th.
The Friends of Beamish Museum are running "The Beamish Great North Steam Fair" at the Museum on September 5th and 6th. Beamish is at Chester le Street just South of Newcastle upon Tyne and has a superb collection of industrial, social and architectural displays, including railways, tramways, housing, shops, pubs and other aspects of a Victorian/ Edwardian town. With a recent change of management at the Museum they are making more connection with enthusiasts' clubs. The Friends of Beamish have asked whether anyone from the steam car fraternity would be able to come along to this event. The idea would be to have some steam cars running in the "town" to show to the public - lots of interest and questions are anticipated!
If you are able to go (sadly this clashes with our Dorset tour for me) please can you ring Robert Atkinson of the Friends of Beamish on 01207 571509 to discuss. Robert tells me that secure overnight storage will be available should you wish to be there both days, or to arrive Friday.
