From a condensing car to an earlier noncondensing one

I recently purchased a 1910 Stanley Model 70 non-condensing steamer. Presently (previously) I have been operating a 1924 condensing car. Well, there is a difference! And, I am muddling my way through the new steamer. It has a Baker Burner which makes it a bit different. What tips or suggestions do you have regarding a non-condensing Stanley? My 1924 is for sale.
