Things are getting even better. Whilst attending the brilliant Purbeck tour Chris Busk agreed to take over the position of membership secretary, the job he did so well before the Stuart Gray incident. Greg Walker will continue as club secretary and treasurer. This now puts the club in safe hands for the future. The position of club chairman will run for 3 years after which an election must take place. All other positions on the committee will remain in place unless a volunteer wishes to take over one of those positions.

Now the club has a full committee our job will be to concentrate on sensible rules and regulations in line with those voted in at the AGM in February 2009, whilst endeavouring to safeguard it from the catastrophes of the past. Once completed the committee will print those proposals in the January magazine, giving the membership an opportunity to comment and then a final draft will be produced for acceptance at next years AGM.

The finances of the club are sound, thanks to donations and the large membership which has now been acheived with membership heading beyond the 250 we envisaged.
