Serpollet pattern engine

Hi folks

Is anyone aware of the Serpollet pattern engines built by David.J. Smith around 1903? Attached is a drawing from the English Mechanic.

looks right.
Same block that was listed a wile back for sale on this site.

Hi
If you mean the engine in Australia then no it is not the same block. If you look carefully at the pictures of a Serpollet flat four it has only one cam shaft and all the valves are on one side of the cylinder.
I have a picture of another flat four uniflow engine which is listed also as a Serpollet but no name cast into it. I am suspicious this is another Serpollet pattern engine, either by Smith or Simpson.
