I enjoyed Ian's story of how the missing 735 parts were recovered - quite amazing that they should come back together after 60 years! Still looks like a lot of work but a great buy - well done Ian. It'll keep you out of mischief.

By the way what's a Bucephalus steam bike? See page 7 - do tell us more!

Hi Mike,
The steam bike named “Bucephalus” after the horse ridden by “Alexander the Great” is a single cylinder 1.5” X 1.5” simple engine using Stuart Turner castings. Steam generator is a vertical fire tube boiler, fitted with a superheater and powered by a vaporising petrol burner, which I am told has a interesting means of control, the whole unit is attached to a bicycle, I should have some pictures and further information in the next few days, Jeff.

Sounds like "Vesuvius" to the Americans.
Cole Powermodels still carries castings and plans for it.
