This note is a copy of one sent to Barry Herbert for inclusion in the next magazine and although the dates are Sunday to Sunday the touring days are from monday to friday , there will not be road books etc. as this is very much an "ad lib" event you will need the map "The Cotswolds & Gloucestershire" from Ordinance Survey (on line £5.00) you don't have to bring a steamer, Any car is welcome The note as follows.

# The Nelsons will be in the Cotswolds from Saturday July 16 till Sunday July 24, 2011. This is not an organised tour but an informal "meet" to whom members are welcome, to join us. The usual arrangements as to accommodation apply , for those not familiar check the Cotswold tourist web site for local hostelries around Chipping Norton. we will be based at the farm OX7 5UP where we camp.
As for tour's , a few of us have operated this free and easy meet for a few years and it works for us, The dates would be from Monday 18th July - Friday 22nd July. We decide (over a beer?) where we might go the next day and meet up for lunch etc. or go independent to wherever takes our fancy, it is a relaxing ( if ever steam cars can be) week and we usually have tales to tell at the end of it. please join us if you can even if for only for a couple of days
