Steam V8 AND V12 Engines

Yes I was wondering if you could make them fit between some of today's bodoyshapes as I wish to build a modern steam car which will useeither a V12 or a V8 and I which to build a small sports car using a V4 or a V6.

Can this be done? I am asking advice as I see a lot of websites on steam but very little on how to make engines speed up to their maximum relvoltions or how to put engines between axles,

I mean I think they would be good for big cars. My fuels to use would be biodiesal for the pilot and to heat the boiler and of course water with the working fluid

I was thinking a long the lines of the Doble engine system with a decent condenser
