Hi all,
Just a note to say thank you very much to Ray Clark and co for the coffee stop, it is always very much appreciated. Both the 1900 Mobile and 1904 Oldsmobile completed the run, although the 1900 Mobile was hit and the right front wheel and axle damaged in Cuckfield. George Hounslow

George,

I do hope that nobody was hurt and I wish the mobile a speedy recovery.

Don

Dear Don,
Luckily nobody was hurt. It was also lucky that Grandpa's passenger was the man who repairs wire wheels! The man who hit him in a large 1904 car stopped and helped them repair it so he could carry on. The car now needs a new wheel along with tires. The next problem was that the steam pipe to the displacement lubricator broke! This was plugged up and they completed the run. George.
