Sorry everyone, I've just had a telephone call from the organiseres at MEX11 who have informed me that due to them double booking part of the hall there will be no room for the Model R.

I'm sure you can work out for yourself what my reaction was!

That was a real shame Steve - I was there yesterday and the main entrance foyer was ocuppied by a part-built large scale RC model of some rather obscure early German aeroplane. From what I saw it didn't attract much interest - a Stanley would have been a much better option - their loss I think!


P.S. apologies in advance to all those model aeroplane builders I have offended! Actually, it was still quite an amazing exhibit (but not quite a steam car!)
