A new short video of Whistling Billy in steam has been added to the clips on the front page of the website. You may need to 'refresh' your screen several times to get to the clip.

After many requests and queries for "what does that do?" and "how can I?" we have added a new page

Help and links to Steam Car Club Resources

The page offers new and exciting ways how you can get involved with the club through this forum, social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter and see many parts of the site you may not frequent.


Did you know, for example, that we have a fan on Facebook from Russia, who posts his comments in Russian - thankfully we can translate the comments!

On Youtube, one of our videos has had over 45,000 views!

On Facebook, a steam car enthusiast from Kentucky is developing his own steam powered car - a very modern version!

By connecting all these resources and people we can help each other develop, solve problems, advertise events and publicise our hobby. After all, as we state on the first page of the website, it's probably the best hobby in the world.

I have added a new item to the "Wanted" page. One of our Australian members is seeking some lamps for a Toledo.

A new batch of images from the recent Teesdale Tour is now available on the first page of the website (refresh if you still see last months collection) - and did you know, if you think the slideshow whizzes through too fast you can hover your mouse over each image to stop the show. Move you mouse off again to restart.

We have updated and improved the video gallery on the website - so now it is easier to find the videos (because they will be all in one place).
It is a work in progress as we go through the (huge) archive of footage we have available and add the new videos from current tours, so please bear with us.
