Someone on the VSCC web forum noticed this advert for a Stanley in France:-
"Saw an ad for a 1922 Stanley, apparently in good nick - at least relatively recently - going for 20,000 Euros in the May edition of Retroviseur (a French Classic Car monthly).
As this sounds like quite a good price, I thought it worth posting the details ... The photo shows a smart, mulberry-coloured tourer, with what looks like a new hood. Text is as follows: "Stanley a vapeur, 1922, Tour du Monde "Jules Verne" en 1992, 20.000 e. Tel (Hauts-de-Seine)06 08 28 86 60 (ref. 2-186433C)"

To save unnecessary calls, this car was sold three weeks ago, it was in good condition generally, but needed a new boiler, hope this helps, Jeff.
