Stanley Model 607 fuel tank removal

A question for all owners of Model 607 Stanleys - is it possible to get the fuel tank out without having to remove the car's body?
Ours has developed a leak in the top half of the tank, totally inaccessible with the tank in the car!

Hi Peter,
I took the tank out of mine a couple of years ago, I removed the rail in front of it that holds the front of the seat squabs in place also, there are a couple of screws either side on mine, with this out of the way I lifted the tank out.
If this rail isn't removable on yours you may have to lift the body off, I will keep my finger crossed that you don't!
