Seen on the BBC news website today Tuesday 21 August

An 82-year-old man has died and a 61-year-old man is in a serious condition after inhaling fumes in a garage at a house in Devon.
They were found collapsed after inhaling carbon monoxide while working on a vintage steam car in the garage

I'm sure that all fellow steam car enthusiasts will express their sympathy.....

Since the steam car world is so small, we all should know the men involved with the steam car accident. What were their names? Does anyone know? Since the internal combustion cars are such air polluters, their obnoxious fumes give us our first warning when their fumes start to overcome us. Steam cars burn so clean, that without warning, their fumes,"carbon monoxide", can silently and stealthly overtake you.
