simple running lamps

I have been looking at ideas for a simple way of fitting a reasonably bright running light to the front of the Stanley for very occasional use if we were to be caught out in very bad weather or failing daylight. Nothing special, just to let other motorists know we are there! The solution in the end cost me £3 and about ten minutes work, does not need any wiring and can be fitted to the car in under a minute with no damage at all.
The two little LED torches were from a local hardware shop and are powered by three AAA batteries. The mounting rubber was made out of ¾’’ water hose, split with a hacksaw and joined together with superglue. They are simply slipped over the headlamp brackets as shown in the photo. Cheep and cheerful but does the job! Harold Bell
