To complement to my thread - Amusing questions from the public – I thought it may be fun to share - Amusing Photographs of Steam Cars.
The late Jeff Theobald was always one to try something new if he thought it would improve the performance of his cars. Here’s a shot of Jeff explaining to a youngster how fitting a chimney to his Stanley 85 improved the draft on the fire.

Spotted recently on a farm not far from Chipping Norton was the rare sight of a Stanley Steamer giving birth to its own driver!

Yes, it was a very uncomfortable breech birth, but aided with a bit of steam oil.
