It has just been reported on the SACA forum that John Woodson, creator of the excellent Stanley Steamers website and forum, has passed away.
For many years his "Steam Gazette" was a major internet source for chat and comment on antique steam cars, thanks to Mr Woodson's enthusiasm and energy. His efforts were much appreciated by me in my early days of fiddling in steam and I am very sad to hear this news.

Sad news for the steam car movement, I also went through every posting in the ‘Steam Gazette’ when I first got the steam car bug. A site packed with valuable information both for the expert and the novice. Condolences form the SCCGB.
