Invitation from the National Stean Car Association

Following a telephone call from Edward Goddard at the end of August, the National Steam Car Association has sent a formal invitation to our club to join them on their 2015 tour which will be a repeat of the first ever official tour held in 1993 based near Dolgellau in Wales from 14th June to 20th June. Your committee discussed the invitation at its last meeting on 8th October and the consensus was that our club would respond favourably to the invitation, which we will leave to each individual member of the SCCGB’s discretion. It has been confirmed that sight of individual boiler certificates and car insurance will be accepted.
