I was wondering if there are any Stanley H model prototype drawings available? Like the one that was used on the 1905 Mt. Washington Carriage climb detailed in Kit Foster's book.
I have contacted the Stanley Museum... they are looking into it, but though I would ask here as well.
Looking to see/compare the changes in the H model series.
The early model H was the same as the EX but 10 inches longer with a 100 inch wheel base.
The 10 inches was added to the front from the fire wall to get the 23 inch boiler in back of the front axle.
There was no rear seat. The back was like the EX only no seat and did not open, and no rear doors. It may have had a larger water tank. It had a 3.625 X 5 dry engine.
Rolly
I want to start by doing some drawings to hang on my garage walls for inspiration as I begin to research into building one in the future... for now its the Lykamobile build, the 20HP Stanley engine (to work on in-between waiting for the kits). Next on the list the H chassis.
