I am personally familiar with the Doble D 2 coupe body. The coupe body would be correct for the D 2 Doble but the coupe body was never attached to a Brooks. The Brooks is your car so at this point, you can build it any way that you would like to. You are not locked into using the coupe body on your Brooks. Our 1914 Stanley model 606 came from the same collection as the D2 Doble. They were parked across the room from each other.

Good Morning! Remember to visit the Brooks page on the Virtual Steam Car Museum.

There is also a moderate amount of Doble material there as well.

Does anyone know of a supplier who restores 1920s Bourdon Tube Gauges? The hair spring on the fuel pressure side of my duplex gauge is a mess. It works, but I don't trust it.
