Pre war UNC nuts

Anyone know where I can get pre war size 3/8” UNC nuts, they are approx 11/16” AF and 3/8”high.

Ncheching before making one frim hex stock.

Had a spring to axle u bolt nut come off!

UNC threads were not available before 1945 and then not common till they began to circulate through industry, so if your car is "original" it is unlikely the thread you require is U.N.C., having said that a lot of common deign factors occur between threads and it is often the case that nuts or bolts will engage satisfactorily Les

Thanks for the info Les, I will have to check a pre-WWII copy of Machinery's Handbook for the thread size. I made a 3/8" UNC jam nut in the end, which did the job.
