Cawood Show over the August Bank Holiday this year is celebrating its 25 Anniversary.
Cawood is a small village between York and Selby on the River Ouse in North Yorkshire.
The show starts at 10.30 am and finishes at 5.00 pm on each day.
The show is based all around the village and includes:-
15th century living history society groups, the York City Levy and Sir William Vavasour's Household.
Display of Vintage Tractors, Steam Engines and Steam Cars (Ryther Road Car Park)
Static steam display (Behind the Gatehouse)
Classic cars (Vicarage)
Pimms and Champagne bar (Vicarage)
Children's steam train ride (Behind the Gatehouse)
Display of History of Cawood (Banqueting Hall)
Stalls and Refreshments (Old Boys School)
Metal detecting exhibition (Exhibition Square)
Arts and Crafts / Farmers Market (Vicarage)
Display of Craft Competition Entries (Church)
Different Bands through the weekend (Vicarage)
Castle Garth Group Exhibition (Cawood Primary School)
Exhibition: Photographs of Cawood old and new (Cawood Primary School)
On the Sunday the show is hosting a steam car tour which leaves Cawood around 11.30 and will be back around 2.30.
