Does anyone know a supplier for small mechanical pressure gauges and thermometers of about 40-50mm diameter preferably with brass case. I've tried some model engineers suppliers but their pressure gauges don't go up to 600psi. I like to instrument my car but without putting anything on looking too modern or too large. In this case I want to monitor steam line pressure and temperature.

Worth looking at www.pvl.co.uk web site. They have all sorts of interesting stuff but I think you will have to contact them for pressure gauges. I got some gauges up to 400psi. Only plastic case but easily disguised with brass tube! and provided you use enough length of pipe with a water trap then no problem with temperature.
