Snowdonia in Springtime Steam Car Tour Video. (SOLD OUT)
More than 20 steam powered cars were based in and around Betws-y-Coed. From here the intrepid drivers set
off for daily tours across the strikingly beautiful, and sometimes wild, mountain and coastal scenery of North Wales.
Following the cars were the film crew, who produces DVD's of steaming events,
this film has captured the steam cars and their crews, most started from the Waterloo Hotel and we follow their
adventures in preparing vehicles, climbing hills, battling with adverse weather conditions, breaking down, finding and
collecting water and generally having a good time. The daily tours visited Llandudno, Great Orme, Menai Bridge, Beaumaris,
LlanfairPG, Porthmadog and the Ffestiniog Railway including a private visit to the Engineering Works at Boston Lodge.
Two Stanley's tackling one of the many Welsh hills.
The film was available as a DVD and runs for 70 minutes
