  1903 Stanley Model 'B' 6.5hp Reg No:- BS 8125.

Details:  Serial Number:- 119   Engine Number:- 66

This car was built in Newton, Mass in 1902. Imported into the UK 1990 after "restoration" by Carl Amsley ref. No.8202. First registered in the UK November 1991.

V.C.C. Dating Certificate No. 2026 issued 11.08.1994.

Purchased by me November 2004, knowing that it had achieved Rallies and Brighton Runs and also knowing that it had a boiler which was suspect, had a nasty habit of catching fire, and was minus a smoke hood.

Susequently a new smoke hood was made and fitted in 2005 and a new boiler was purchased and fitted (DON BOURDON No. 541 October 2005)

Pilot runs on butane, although the original regulator and fittings are still in place, should the original method be re-established.

Twin Venturi burner jetted for unleaded petrol - full steam 20 minutes.

Much work has been done on pumps, clack valves, plumbing etc.

Red lined @ 300 psi steam, 70 psi fuel.

The car is in extremely good order and runs well, only used for local charity shows.

Phone for further details contact.
